En español, decimos Si trabajara, ganaría dinero. En inglés, se dice If I worked, I would earn money.

If I went to Boston, I would visit you.
If you went later, we would go with you.

Para hablar del pasado, en español diríamos Si hubieras venido, nos habrías visto. ¡En inglés, se dice If you had come, you would have seen us!

If you had asked, I would have told you.
If we hadn’t eaten, we would have been hungry.
