Algunos verbos tienen significados parecidos, ¡pero no son exactamente lo mismo! Veamos algunos ejemplos de los sentidos.

The farmer looked at the sky and saw a bird.

They listened, but they didn’t hear anything.

Los verbos hear y see se refieren a cosas que percibimos, ¡pero look y listen son acciones activas hechas con más atención!
