¡Me voy!

Sometimes two letters can make a big difference! Ir means to go, but irse means to leave!

Irse is the combination of ir and a short word like me, te, se, or nos.

Yo me voy por unos días.
I’m leaving for a few days.

Remember that ir has those weird forms that start with v‑ when talking about the present.

¿Por qué te vas?
Why are you leaving?

Ellos no se van mañana.
They aren't leaving tomorrow.

Me encantaría

Remember how me gustaría is used to say what you would like to do?

Me gustaría salir a almorzar.
I'd like to go out for lunch.

Similarly, you can use me encantaría to say what you would love to do!

Me encantaría una semana en la playa.
I would love a week at the beach.
