Verbs like apprendre, comprendre, and prendre will always have the same endings. They are similar to verbs you’ve already learned, like entendre and attendre, but notice that there’s no d with ils or elles!

Apprendre can mean learn or study depending on the context.
Béatrice apprend les mathématiques à l’université.
Beatrice is studying math in college.
Mes enfants apprennent leurs leçons de mathématiques.
