For the most part this website is an attempt of a clean visual representation of our public extended profiles and a little bit more: at duolingo.com you can only see a very limited amount of statistical data for your current language; duome.eu shows your detailed live data for your current language pair and keeps some essential stats for the rest of your languages, making it possible to compare your progress to thousands of other duolinguists out there.
If you have any questions or feedback, you are always welcome to send a message to ask [at] duome.eu
There is no longer a requirement of having a 100+ days streak to be able to use duome, just look up your duolingo username, like this: duome.eu/johnarnold
If you don't see your profile right away, it means that this is your first time at duome — then hit the blue refresh button and wait until the page is reloaded.
Now you can see your stats via duome.eu!
In order to update more than half a million known usernames one by one duome needs roughly a year if it revisits one profile per minute, and even though it can be done in several threads in parallel, the update queue would still be way too long with this amount of usernames. This is why there is now a blue refresh button on every profile page, so you wouldn't have to wait for days or weeks (or more) for a scheduled update. Just click that refresh button when needed.
There's also a smaller refresh toggle next to your "Languages by..." section — this one is there to update your word counts. Sometimes this very small piece of data takes the longest to update, this is why it had to be placed under its own toggle.
Yes. Duolingo may still remember your longest streak and duome will try to recall your streak automatically. On some occasions — if your current streak is the longest you ever had, and you wish to rembember your second best streak as well — you would have to provide a copy of one of those reminder emails that Duo sends to help us keep our streaks going — simply forward a screenshot or one of those emails and your username to ask [at] duome.eu and I'll make duome remember the missing numbers for you.
There's a Streak Hall of Fame on the main page, as well as Golden Owl Hall of Fame, 100,000 XP+ Hall of Fame, Vocabulary Hall of Fame, Thousandaire Hall of Fame and some more.
There is also some detailed statistics on every language accessible by these patterns:
Timezones should be updated automitically when you refresh your data. Daylight saving time, if applicable, should normally be reflected on your duome charts.
Duome itself does not use cookes but there may be some third-party cookies from Google (Analytics) and/or Yandex (Metrika, an equivalent of Google Analytics for Russian visitors), these services are being used by virtually everyone everywhere around the world and they help to understand what visitors are looking for and where do they come from — if maybe there's an article about duome in some blog or on social networks, and I didn't know it.
Please do use browser extensions like uBlock Origin if you are uncomfortable with cookies and you do want to block them. This is what I'm actually doing myself.
